Junior Accountant

Description:

A growing organization in Dubai is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about accounting, financial accuracy, and developing their careers within a structured and professional environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and assisting in various reporting and reconciliation tasks. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle routine financial documentation with accuracy and consistency.

This opportunity provides hands-on experience in core accounting functions and exposure to VAT processes, financial reporting, and general ledger activities within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain invoices, expenses, and payment transactions accurately
• Assist in preparing VAT-related documentation and compliance reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable records
• Support monthly financial reporting and closing activities
• Organize, update, and maintain accounting files and documentation
• Assist senior accounting staff with day-to-day financial operations

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• UAE experience is considered an advantage
