Junior Accountant

Description:

A company based in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience who have practical knowledge of Focus ERP and Tally and are available for immediate joining.

The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reporting and reconciliations, and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations while working closely with the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.

• Prepare journal entries and assist with financial closing activities.

• Prepare VAT reports and ensure tax compliance.

• Generate financial reports using Focus ERP and Tally.

• Monitor invoices, payments, and collections.

• Assist with internal and external audit processes.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).

• Hands-on experience with Focus ERP and Tally (Mandatory).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles.

    • Focus ERP, Tally, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.

    • Financial reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations.
