Junior Accountant

Description:

ALA Group is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to become part of its Finance Team based in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai. This opportunity is well suited for individuals who are eager to develop their accounting career in a professional and collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Candidates with UAE experience are encouraged to apply, while fresh graduates with a strong academic background in accounting are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.

• Maintain accurate financial records and support documentation.

• Prepare and update financial reports and spreadsheets.

• Process accounting transactions while ensuring data accuracy.

• Support the finance team with routine accounting and administrative tasks.

• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• 1–3 years of UAE accounting experience is preferred.

• Fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.

• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong knowledge of:

    • Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Basic Formulas)

    • Basic Accounting and Bookkeeping

    • ERP and Accounting Software (Preferred)
