Junior Accountant

Description:

A leading group in the UAE is looking for a qualified and motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Ajman. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with strong experience in manufacturing or industrial accounting and a solid understanding of UAE financial regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, managing cost accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements. Candidates with experience in manufacturing-related industries and ERP systems will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, reconciliations, and financial documentation.

• Perform industrial and cost accounting activities, including production costing and cost tracking.

• Maintain accurate inventory accounting records and monitor manufacturing-related financial processes.

• Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with company accounting procedures.

• Support VAT and Corporate Tax calculations, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

• Work with ERP and accounting systems to maintain accurate financial data.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities while meeting reporting deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Experience with at least two different companies during the last four years.

• Arabic speaker is mandatory.

• Previous experience in the Perfumes, Fragrances, Cosmetics, FMCG, or Manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

• Practical experience in:

• Industrial Accounting

• Cost Accounting

• Production Costing

• Inventory Accounting

• Manufacturing Accounting Procedures

• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
