Junior Audit Associate / Intern

A growing professional services firm in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a Junior Audit Associate / Intern to join its expanding audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are eager to gain practical audit experience while developing their technical and professional skills.

Working alongside experienced auditors, managers, and partners, you will participate in external audit assignments across a variety of industries. The role offers structured training, mentorship, and a clear career path for individuals who are passionate about building a long-term career in audit and assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and executing external audit engagements.

• Perform audit testing in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements.

• Prepare audit working papers, financial schedules, and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate with clients to collect required documents and follow up on outstanding information.

• Work closely with the audit team to ensure engagements are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Participate in training and mentorship programs to enhance technical and professional capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CA, ACCA, or CPA students, or fresh qualifiers are preferred.

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of audit experience.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High level of attention to detail and professionalism.

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.

• Currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining is preferred.

Strong knowledge of:

• IFRS and External Audit Procedures

• Microsoft Excel and Financial Documentation
