Junior Data Engineer

Description:

• Help build and maintain data pipelines and integration processes
• Support data quality checks and help investigate and fix any data issues
• Work with data catalogs and metadata tools to make data easier to find and understand
• Collaborate with business teams to understand their data needs and help deliver solutions
   

Responsibilities
 

• Learn and apply data governance practices, including privacy and compliance requirements
• Assist with documenting data flows and keeping records up to date
• Explore new tools, technologies, and best practices in the data world
   

Requirements
 

• A recent graduate in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or something similar
• Basic understanding of how databases work – you’ve used SQL and maybe even played with a relational database
• Some exposure to data concepts like ETL, data warehouses, or data modeling
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to dive into technical challenges
• Good communication skills – you’ll be working with both technical and non-technical people
• Eagerness to learn and grow — we don’t expect you to know everything, but we do expect curiosity and initiative
• Exposure to cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Informatica, or Talend
• A basic understanding of data governance or data privacy concepts
