Junior Enrollment Specialist

 

Description:

As a Junior Enrollment Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support the student admission process for an educational institution or organization. You will assist in recruiting, attracting, and enrolling students while ensuring a smooth and efficient admission experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. The profile should be good with sales, numbers, KPI and targets.

Responsibilities:

Meeting and exceeding the KPI’s assigned daily, monthly, quarterly.

Student Inquiries: Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, or guardians regarding admission procedures, program details, eligibility criteria, and other relevant information. Provide accurate and timely information via email, phone, or in-person meetings.

Application Processing: Review and process student applications, ensuring that all required documents, forms, and fees are completed accurately and within specified deadlines. Verify application information and coordinate with other departments, if necessary, to gather additional required documents.

Admission Assistance: Assist students with the application process, including guiding them through the necessary steps, explaining admission requirements, and providing support for completing application forms. Address any concerns or questions raised by applicants throughout the admission process.

Document Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of student applications, documents, and related correspondence. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of student information.

Admission Events: Participate in admission events, such as open houses, campus tours, information sessions, and career fairs. Help coordinate and execute these events, including event promotion, logistics, and providing guidance to attendees.

Communication and Follow-up: Communicate regularly with applicants regarding the status of their applications, missing documents, interview schedules, and admission decisions. Follow up with admitted students to ensure the completion of enrollment requirements.

Data Reporting and Analysis: Compile and generate reports on admission statistics, application trends, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

Collaboration: Work closely with the admission team, academic departments, and other stakeholders to streamline admission processes, improve the student experience, and achieve enrollment goals. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for enhancing recruitment strategies.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate,Diploma in Hospitality, tourism or relevant felid is favorable.
  • 1 year of experience in sales, B2B or B2C is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective students and their families.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and software for data entry, document management, and email communication.
  • Familiarity with student information systems or admission management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the education industry, admission processes, and current trends in student recruitment is advantageous.
  • Should be on a husband visa or freelancer’s visa.
  • The nature of the job is hybrid, hence the candidate can be part timer, interns etc.
