Junior Procurement Officer

Description:

We are seeking a resourceful Junior Procurement Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience sourcing a broad range of goods across local and international markets and the ability to manage fast-moving and varied procurement requests with professionalism and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and onboard suppliers both locally and internationally.
• Procure a wide variety of items — from specialty components to higher-end/luxury products — ensuring suitability and quality.
• Negotiate competitive pricing, lead times and delivery terms to meet business requirements.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Track deliveries, follow up with vendors and resolve delivery or quality issues as they arise.
• Conduct market research to identify alternative suppliers and spot cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• 3–4 years’ proven experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Strong market research, supplier evaluation and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple, varied procurement requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
