Junior Sous Chef

 

Description:

As a Junior Sous Chef (Continental), you will assist the Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff in the preparation of continental dishes.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all menu items.
  • Assist in planning and developing new menu items with creativity and innovation.
  • Maintain hygiene, HACCP, and safety standards in the kitchen at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support in managing food costs effectively.
  • Train and guide junior team members to uphold high culinary standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef for smooth operations.

💼 Candidate Preference:

✅ Candidates with prior experience in renowned 5-star hotel brands such as Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Lalit, or Leela will be preferred.

✅ Strong understanding of Continental cuisine, plating techniques, and modern culinary trends.

✅ Excellent team management and multitasking skills.
