Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team in the travel industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid reputation with local travel agents and a strong understanding of the online travel business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard, train, and build confidence with new partners.
- Maintain and grow existing business by fostering strong commercial and personal relationships with partners at all levels.
- Negotiate commercial and financial conditions with partners.
- Conduct regular site visits (3-4 days a week) to support agents both onsite and online.
- Facilitate training/webinars and introduce new products to increase sales.
- Follow up daily with clients and the team to drive better results.
- Provide regular reports to the Regional Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in the travel industry in a similar role.
- Strong, self-motivated, and goal-oriented work style with excellent business communication skills.
- Proven experience in B2B negotiations and sales management.
- Experience in developing sales, especially with travel agents.
- Quick adaptability to new technologies, products, and procedures.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business trips.
