Lead Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Engineer – Fire & Life Safety to take a leading role on complex and high-impact projects in Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for a seasoned Fire & Life Safety professional who excels in technical leadership, regulatory compliance, and collaborative project delivery across large-scale developments.

What You’ll Do:
• Lead the design, review, and implementation of Fire & Life Safety (FLS) systems across complex and multi-disciplinary projects
• Ensure full compliance with UAE Civil Defence requirements, NFPA standards, IBC, and other applicable international codes
• Coordinate closely with internal teams, clients, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs)
• Provide technical leadership, including risk assessments and performance-based fire engineering solutions
• Review drawings, technical specifications, calculations, and reports with a high degree of accuracy
• Support projects from early concept stages through construction, testing, and commissioning phases

What We’re Looking For:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering, or a closely related field
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant Fire & Life Safety engineering experience
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA standards, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and global best practices
• Proven experience on large-scale commercial, residential, mixed-use, or infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Chartered status or professional certifications such as CFPS, PE, or CEng are a strong advantage
