Learning Assistants

Description:

We are looking to hire energetic and highly motivated Learning Assistants to join our school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to assist in planning of classroom learning and facilitate delivery of the intended outcome during the lesson time.
• Accompanying groups on trips
• To undertake duties such as playground supervision, breaktime supervision, changing room supervision.
• Supervising students as they board and leave bus. Managing student behavior and report student discipline problems to the transport manager.
• Maintaining an awareness of all the health and safety measures to be taken when in school.
• Participation in all major events e.g. Coffee Mornings, Assemblies, Concerts etc.

The successful applicant will be required to have the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience of working with children is an added advantage
• Flexible and a can-do attitude
