Job Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the medical store operations and ensure that the store is operationally fit according to the MOHAP requirements.
  • Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances.
  • Track and manage the expiration date of the products
  • Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Ensures that the quality of the product is stable and packed and stored properly according to the temperature requirements
  • Reviewing and executing physician's prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality.
  • Organizing the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster.
  • Maintaining control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products.
  • Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
  • Able to evaluate, identify, prevent and manage drug-related problems.
  • Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.
  • Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
  • Keeping accurate customer records and performing administrative tasks when needed.
  • Completes and maintains all regulatory requirements including: licensure and certification and other mandatory training within established time frames.
  • Assume responsibility for patient-specific pharmacotherapy plan to ensure optimal outcomes serves to patients by preparing medications, giving pharmacological information and provide pharmaceutical care to patients by monitoring drug therapies, reviewing medication orders, providing drug information.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology.
  • Valid MOH license or Evaluation Letter as a Pharmacist.
  • Full Time Location: Sharjah
  • Minimum 2 -3 years’ experience in UAE as a Pharmacist
  • Proven experience as a pharmacist
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and software applications, used by pharmacies and Riayati platform
  • Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
  • Great organizational and selling skills.
  • To be flexible in working hours and evening duty shifts
