Hiring Light Duty Driver
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Follow the logistics plan to deliver the orders on time and ensure the safety of the deliveries
- Schedule regular service appointments for vehicles
- Follow the approved route to run the vehicle. Change in route is prohibited and meet delivery schedules
- Follow RTA traffic laws and Logistic department policy and procedures.
- Maintain good behavior in the roads and follow the Road rules & Regulations to avoid any accidents or fines
- Maintain a positive attitude with customers & Suppliers
- Document and log your activities and kilometers spent driving and maintain fuel log sheet
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Comply with vehicle’s driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maintain the vehicle and associated equipment, clean and in good working order
- Inspect the Vehicle before and after the trip, and record any defects in a Daily / Weekly Report
Qualifications & Skills: –
- Valid Light Driving License.
- Proficiency in reading and speaking English and Urdu.
- Clean driving record with no history of accidents or fines.
- Familiarity with RTA traffic rules and regulations.
