Description:
We are looking for a highly capable Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team in Abu Dhabi. This position requires an experienced professional who is well-versed in logistics activities across the UAE and GCC region, particularly in managing cross-border transportation by road.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day logistics coordination, including scheduling and monitoring transport activities.
- Manage the shipment of materials across UAE borders and ensure timely delivery to GCC destinations.
- Prepare and review all logistics-related documentation and ensure full compliance with GCC customs and regulatory procedures.
- Work closely with drivers, transport vendors, and internal teams to maintain smooth operations and resolve any logistics challenges.
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams to support material movement and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on delivery status, transport schedules, and operational challenges.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of UAE experience in logistics, transport coordination, and cross-border cargo movement.
- Strong understanding of GCC logistics procedures, including customs documentation, road transport regulations, and border clearance processes.
- Proven ability to manage logistics partners, track shipments, and maintain operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to urgent operational needs.
