Marine Engineer

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 to join our team.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

Design, inspect, and oversee the construction and maintenance of marine vessels, structures, and systems (e.g., docks, jetties, breakwaters, barges, offshore platforms).

Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses for marine engineering projects.

Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Review marine equipment layouts, propulsion systems, ballast systems, and structural designs for compliance.

Monitor construction and installation activities, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, naval architects, surveyors, and environmental specialists.

Manage safety protocols and ensure all marine operations comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Assist in tender documentation, cost estimation, and technical evaluation of marine scopes.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine engineering, preferably in the UAE or Gulf region.

Knowledge of marine codes, IMO regulations, and classification society rules (ABS, DNV, BV, etc.).

Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Maxsurf, MOSES, or similar marine design tools.

Familiarity with port/marine infrastructure development is a plus.

Strong communication, project management, and coordination skills.
