As a Videography Intern for dubizzle motors, you will get exposure in creating photo and video content pieces that will be featured on our consumer blog, business hub, social media accounts, as well as showroom guides.
You will also gain exposure in creating car review videos that will be hosted on our YouTube channel, think “Top Gear” and “The Grand Tour”. The content you produce will be consumed by millions of people in the UAE including a subset of professional users (i.e. car dealers).
You will sit within the creative team but work very closely with the motors marketing team and social media / content manager. The role will entail working in the field as well, think of going to the organized car markets and / or big car showrooms and creating content there, interviewing showroom owners, or making fun content on the go.
In This Role, You Will
You will be working alongside professional and experienced videographers:
- Brainstorming and conceptualizing video content ideas in line with content plan
- Gaining exposure to work on multiple video projects
- Brainstorming content ideas and gaining insights on their execution both solely and collaboratively
- Working collaboratively with other members on the creative team to produce high quality content
- Creating templates for photography and videography assets in line with dubizzle motors brand
- Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
- Receiving briefs for taking photographs / videos of cars, car showrooms, car events, car reviews, and company events
- Maintaining, organizing, and archiving all assets, raw and ready, in an easy to access format
- Creating a brief and an outline of footage or a shot list, script or screenplay
- Assembling all raw footage, cutting, sequencing and mixing per brief
- Creating a ‘rough cut’ (or assembly edit) of the programme/film and determining the exact cutting for the later stages
- Reordering and fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video
- Experimenting with editing and mixing styles and technique, including graphic elements, animations and motion graphics
- Grading, colouring and adding special effects, mixing and editing sound
- Editing the photographs in Photoshop and other software for maximum quality
- Adobe premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom knowledge is essential
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a certification in a similar field
- Must hold a valid UAE residency visa (Under university/ parent’s sponsorship)
- Applicants must be in their final year of study, graduating in 2021
- Creative mind, a strong personality, a go-getter attitude with high level of passion for cars
