Marketing Specialist

As a Marketing Manager, the person will develop a specialization in our professionals' expertise and solutions; a clear understanding of business growth opportunities, buyer insights, competitor activity and relevant market trends.
 
Success in this role will be measured by the commercial value delivered that contributes to measurable market impact. By working hand in hand with our business, the Marketing Manager will be one of the key contributors to the business growth, by aligning strategic go-to-market marketing programs that are compelling and contributing to the awareness of our experts, our segment and our firm.
 

We are looking for a determined and inquisitive professional with a proven track record in end-to-end development of marketing campaigns, project management, innovative content creation and sales enablement. The person will have proficiency in the successful development and implementation of marketing strategies and take full responsibility for delivering the plans, using different marketing tools to drive demand for the company's products and services and to create awareness and loyalty to the CBS product suite.


Responsibilities

Strategy

 

- Create and implement global marketing strategies, campaigns and programmes, developed to drive awareness and growth of our multifaceted product and provide the overall direction and implementation of marketing and sales support activities.
- Understand the product competitive positioning leveraged to contribute to the development of the value propositions, business proposals and marketing programs.
- Collaborate with the product development team to align marketing campaigns and collateral with the product roadmap.
- Build relationships with external and relevant third-party partners for continued marketing growth.
- To be a routinely contributing voice in strategic discussions on market trends, competitive insight and metrics and measurement of marketing programs.

 
Brand awareness and Campaign management

 
- Lead the Employer Brand strategy of the organisation by taking a consultative approach to create a brand plan for long-term impact on targeted audiences and business outcomes.
- Oversee branding, advertising, promotional and activation campaigns for lead generation: reports, events, webinars, Google / LinkedIn Ads etc.
- Develop brand awareness and thought leadership for the company within the target market.
- Deliver and implement marketing efforts of our brand: corporate marketing programs, cross-segment initiatives, and industry opportunities.
- Manage multiple integrated marketing campaigns with various internal stakeholders simultaneously.
- Take part in the planning of the marketing budget.
- Maintain current templates for branding purposes (e.g., bios, engagement highlights) and oversee consistent use.

Digital and SEO

 

- Drive social media strategy, and develop engaging and relevant content across all channels.
- Produce engaging marketing collateral including thought leadership, brochures, factsheets, and sales materials, to articulate full value proposition across multiple platforms.
- Work on digital candidate attraction, social media, content marketing and paid media.
- Assist with social media content and messaging, aligned to practice/product marketing programs and professional eminence.
- Maintain continuous insight through channel performance monitoring using Google Analytics and internal reports.
- Perform competitor analysis, keyword research, and SERP using relevant tools.
- Create and execute email campaigns and A/B testing using marketing segmentation and inbound marketing strategies.


Other

 

- Coordinate and execute practice events (i.e. collateral, giveaways, booth set-up/take-down, etc.) if required.
- Develop and oversee a process for follow-up after significant marketing/business development events.
- Other special projects as may be assigned from time to time.
 

Requirements

 

- At least 5 years in a Marketing related position.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or higher.
- Experience in activating marketing tactics in own, paid, and shared media, leveraging opportunities in marketing automation, and tracking digital behaviour across the lifecycle, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of building and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent, concise, and persuasive business writing skills (writing sample submissions required).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Decisiveness and excellent use of independent judgement.
- Proficiency in using marketing instruments.
- Previous forensic and litigation experience will be a strong advantage.
