We are seeking experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team for activities in the oil and gas industry. Candidate should have expertise in SolidWorks, AUTO CAD, as well as Mechanical Component Designing and stress analysis.
General job description
- Developing tools for industrial services.
- Design And Development of Structures required to test the tools.
- Create 3D models in SolidWorks as per the project requirements and convert them to 2D Drawings.
- Generation of general arrangement drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Preparing the Bill of materials.
- Modelling and assembling the parts for new product development.
- Supervise the construction of design and prototype.
- Design Product concept, built prototype and conduct testing
- Perform Finite Element Analysis to verify structural integrity of tools.
- Continuous improvement to increase the productivity of the plant.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design products that meet specific requirements and standards
- Create detailed designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Develop prototypes and test them to ensure functionality and quality
- Work collaboratively with other engineers, stakeholders, and clients to ensure that the final product meets all expectations
- Oversee the entire project from start to finish, ensuring that it is completed on time and within budget
- Troubleshoot and overcome the challenges in developed tools
- Ensure that the product meets all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Continuously review and refine designs to optimize functionality and cost-effectiveness
Authorities & Accountabilities
- Review all the input dimensional drawing.
- Performing detailed mathematical calculations to establish manufacturing and installation of product
- Inspecting and analysing the performance of mechanical components, equipment and Structures.
- Assessing project requirements and researching to meet those requirements
- Ensuring a product can be made reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments
- Using computer-aided design/modelling software
- Testing, evaluating, modifying and re-testing products
- Writing reports from the testing of the prototype.
- Providing technical advice.
Competencies Required
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
- Drafting Software: - AutoCAD
- Modelling and Simulation Software: - SolidWorks

- 5 to 10 Years of experience in the field of Design and Development.
