Description:
Mechanical Draftsman required
Location: Sharjah – UAE
Skills & Qualifications:
- University Degree in Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering/ Process
- Minimum 3 years of experience with a manufacturing company in the field of water & wastewater treatment is preferable.
- Consolidated knowledge of water and wastewater (municipal & industrial) treatment and its equipment is required. Also capable of designing new products from basic sketches.
- Professional in product design using inventor/ AutoCAD with strong knowledge of engineering drawing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic calculations for piping/ fitting selection and generating hydraulic profiles.
- Working experience with international companies.
- Experience in data management systems (added advantage).
- Presentation and reporting skills (preferable).
- Language Skills: English (fluent is a must)– Arabic (preferable) & German (added advantage).
Key Responsibilities:
- To create proper product design and manufacturing drawings sets with considering the effective cost.
- To generate project drawings sets covering all types of drawings with a proper and accurate bill of material and other requirements of each.
- Apply stress analysis to define the required material when it’s relevant.
- To follow company/ department ISO procedures for all steps to keep the system in place.
- Always effective time management is required to be in place.
- To visit the sites and collect relevant data, and present/report it in the proper way
