Description:

1️⃣ **Review and Interpretation of Design Documents:**

- Examine MEP engineering drawings (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Plumbing & Drainage, Electrical, etc.) to understand project requirements.

- Interpret sketches and specifications to create detailed construction drawings.

 

2️⃣ **CAD Drafting:**

- Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D Engineering drawings for MEP services.

- Generate plans, elevations, sections, and details of structures.

 

3️⃣ **Drafting Standards and Guidelines:**

- Adhere to industry standards and drafting guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in drawings.

- Stay updated on changes in design and drafting standards.

 

4️⃣ **Collaboration with Engineers and Architects:**

- Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and professionals to understand design concepts.

- Incorporate feedback into drawings to meet project specifications.

 

5️⃣ **Quantity and Cost Estimation:**

- Assist in the preparation of quantity and cost estimates.

- Collaborate with the estimating team for accurate project cost projections.

 

6️⃣ **Regulatory Compliance:**

- Ensure drawings comply with building codes and zoning regulations.

- Coordinate with regulatory authorities for project approvals.

 

7️⃣ **Document Management:**

- Maintain an organized database of drawings and project documentation.

- Prepare and update drawing sets for distribution.

 

8️⃣ **Site Visits and Field Documentation:**

- Conduct site visits to gather information for drawing preparation.

- Document changes during the construction phase.

 

9️⃣ **Technical Support:**

- Provide technical support to the project team.

- Collaborate with other departments for seamless project progression.

 

🌟 **Requirements:**

- 10yrs experience as an MEP Draftsman.

- Proficient in CAD software.

- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
