Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for MEP Project Engineers located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- Supervise and coordinate all MEP-related activities on-site.
- Ensure MEP installations, testing, and commissioning align with design specifications and regulations.
- Resolve on-site issues related to MEP systems promptly.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure smooth workflow and avoid clashes.
- Perform inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met for MEP systems.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of MEP systems, addressing any issues.
- Ensure the timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment for MEP activities.
- Coordinate procurement of MEP-specific materials and monitor inventory levels.
- Lead and supervise MEP technicians and subcontractors.
- Provide guidance and support to the on-site team to ensure proper work procedures.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Maintain records of daily activities, including progress reports, material usage, and safety inspections.
- Prepare reports on MEP system performance, testing, and commissioning for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Previous experience in MEP project execution or site engineering.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with industrial and local authority standards, codes, and regulations.
