Mep Quantity Surveyor

Description:

This is a full-time position based in Dubai, UAE for an MEP Quantity Surveyor. Duties include (Pre Contract – Wet utilities, Infrastructure, HVAC )

•BOQ Preparation

• Preparation of Cost Reports at various design stages including Concept, Schematic, and Detailed Design

• Preliminary Budgeting

• Preparation of Tender Documents

• Tender analysis

Skills Required

• Cost Estimation: Strong knowledge of cost estimation for MEP systems and components.
• Budget Management: Ability to manage and monitor budgets effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Tendering & Contract Management: Experience with tendering, bid analysis, and contract negotiations.
• MEP Systems Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, designs, and their associated costs.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to report and collaborate with different stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to assess costs and financial documents with high attention to detail.
• Professional accreditation or certification (e.g., RICS or similar) is an advantage.

Education Requirements

(Including Certification requirements)

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (if experienced in mechanical, plumbing and drainage)

Experience in Years (Specific Experience in Region)

• About 5-10 Years Relevant UAE experience
