Job Title: Microbiology Lab Assistant

Wellpharma Medical Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Microbiology Lab Assistant to join its Quality Control Department. The successful candidate will assist senior microbiologists, support daily lab operations, and ensure strict compliance with hygiene and safety standards in all microbiological testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sample Preparation: Collect water, environmental, in-process, and finished product samples according to the approved sampling plan.
• Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment, including proper cleaning and sterilization of equipment and work surfaces.
• Housekeeping: Perform regular area cleaning, sanitization, and fumigation following established protocols.
• Assisting Senior Staff: Support senior microbiologists in conducting microbiological tests, analyzing data, and assisting in research-related tasks.
• Environmental Monitoring: Conduct environmental monitoring activities as per approved SOPs to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
   

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related scientific field
• Prior experience in a microbiology or pharmaceutical lab is preferred
• Knowledge of basic microbiological techniques and good laboratory practices (GLP)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to laboratory safety and hygiene
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
