Mid-level Accountant

Description:

IST Real Estate is currently hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have solid UAE accounting experience and strong knowledge of VAT, corporate tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

This role involves managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with UAE financial laws, and supporting business operations within a dynamic real estate and investment environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records

• Prepare financial statements and assist in monthly and year-end reporting

• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and UAE corporate tax requirements

• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation

• Manage and record real estate and forex-related financial transactions

• Reconcile accounts, monitor expenses, and ensure financial accuracy

• Utilize accounting software and Excel for reporting and data management

• Assist in improving financial processes and internal controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 3–5 years of UAE experience in accounting or finance roles

• Strong knowledge of VAT, taxation, and compliance procedures

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills

• Experience in real estate or forex transactions is an advantage

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
