Job Summary:

The Operations and Pricing Specialist will sourcing vendors, getting pricing, oversee and manage end-to-end operations which also will inclue Vendor engagements and customer relation. This includes ensuring timely, compliant, and efficient shipment processes while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping liners, NVOCCs, and local service providers to secure competitive rates and ensure service quality.
• Periodically update pricing to reflect market trends while managing service levels and maintaining competitiveness.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing shipment updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
• Prepare and verify all shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOL), Air Waybills (AWB), and customs declarations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Oversee customs clearance and coordinate end-to-end cargo deliveries, monitoring shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Generate operational reports, monitor vendor performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to optimize operations and maintain service excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Air, ocean freight, inland, and customs operations in UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE customs processes and logistics standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Be a motivated person. Good team player. Willigness to go Extra Miles
