Description:
- Stock, load, cut and sort product in order to ensure maximum availability and department sales.
- Operate equipment (pallet jack, box cutters, dollies, cleaning supplies etc.) According to company guidelines
- Efficiently handle computerized inventory that involves barcode scanners, pricing machines, calculators etc
- Assist cashiers with price checks and product replacement.
- Arranging and maintaining product displays with approval, stock shelves (refill) and take product inventory.
- Applying product knowledge while assisting colleagues and improve the same on a regular basis.
- Working on promotions and achieving set targets.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Stock shops and build and maintain displays.
- Assist in keeping front and back of house clean and mopping up spills etc.
- Answer department phone and provide assistance to callers.
- Maintain production counts by pallets and/or cases and assist with departmental ordering.
- Ensuring all products displayed are properly displayed and labeled as per our brand standards.
- Assisting in quarterly and yearly inventory counts.
- Any other tasks that may be required from time to time to perform to meet the needs of the business.
- Medically able to work in all weather conditions
- Physically able to carry/lift items, climb ladder etc.
To be considered for this role, it is essential to have a:
- Higher Secondary Degree
- Moderate verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of cash handling skills
- Good communication skills
