Description:
Hiring is currently underway for an experienced Operations Executive to join a well-established freight forwarding and logistics team based in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on operational exposure in air, sea, and land freight who are ready to contribute immediately in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Operations Team in handling daily freight forwarding activities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth execution of routine and strategic operational tasks.
- Actively promote and support the growth of Air, Sea, and Land freight services.
- Assist in preparing BIDs and contractual documents in coordination with the Operations Manager.
- Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations for Air, Sea, and Land shipments, covering both import and export movements.
- Coordinate with local and international suppliers to ensure timely and efficient cargo execution.
- Handle specialized cargo movements for Oil, Gas, Energy sectors and multinational corporate clients.
- Prepare and submit weekly operational activity reports and monthly performance reports.
- Travel within the UAE and internationally as required to support operational needs.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics Operations, with preference for Dubai-based candidates.
- Strong working knowledge of Dubai Air and Sea port export and import procedures.
- Practical experience using Mirsal, Dubai Trade, and Calogi systems is mandatory.
- Proven exposure to handling cargo for Oil, Gas, Energy sectors and multinational clients.
- Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills in freight clearing and forwarding.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Presentable, proactive, result-driven, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to perform efficiently in a multicultural work environment; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Mandatory Requirement:
- Candidates must be on a Visit Visa or Cancelled Visa.
- Must be available for immediate joining.
