Description:

Kawader Recruitment is seeking a highly capable Procurement & General Services Specialist for a temporary 3-month assignment based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to contribute to a fast-paced, results-driven project. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and bring significant experience in procurement operations, strategic sourcing, and vendor management.

This short-term but impactful role is well-suited for professionals who can hit the ground running, manage complex procurement tasks independently, and drive operational excellence in a short time frame.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

  • Duration: Temporary Contract (3 months)

  • Start Date: Immediate

  • Nationality Requirement: Arabic-speaking candidates only

  • Employment Type: Full-Time (Contract Basis)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services related to ongoing projects.

  • Handle supplier sourcing, selection, and evaluation, ensuring adherence to corporate procurement policies.

  • Lead price negotiations and contract administration, securing cost-effective and timely solutions.

  • Oversee purchase order processing, vendor relationship management, and compliance monitoring.

  • Support general services operations, including logistics coordination and vendor liaison.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE procurement laws, corporate governance, and risk mitigation practices.

  • Prepare regular procurement reports and performance dashboards using ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.

  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and stakeholders to align procurement goals with organizational needs.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Professional certification in procurement is mandatory: CIPS, CIPP, CPP, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in procurement, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.

  • Strong background in strategic sourcing, tendering, contract drafting, and vendor development.

  • Solid knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).

  • High-level proficiency in Arabic and English – written and spoken.

  • Strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver under tight timelines.
