Core Skills
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming expertise.
- Hands-on experience building low-code applications using Oracle APEX (v19+).
- Good understanding of Oracle Database 12c/19c+ including database design, indexing, and schema optimization.
Frontend Skills
- JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX for APEX customizations.
Integration & API Skills
- Experience working with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for SOAP/REST integrations.
Enterprise Application Knowledge
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP (E-Business Suite / Fusion) or other enterprise applications.
Performance & Security
- Ability to perform APEX performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with APEX security including authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
APEX Development Features
- Familiarity with APEX plugins, dynamic actions, declarative development, themes, templates, and interactive components.
DevOps & Version Control
- Experience with Git/SVN and exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Oracle Applications.
- Work with business teams, IT, and external consultants to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimize applications using Oracle APEX.
- Integrate APEX solutions with Oracle ERP and other Oracle databases.
- Implement security controls and perform performance tuning for APEX applications.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements for APEX systems.
- Build and maintain APEX interactive reports, dashboards, and custom UI components.
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages for APEX applications.
- Automate processes and workflows using ORDS and web services (SOAP/REST).
- Manage APEX version control, deployment processes, and application lifecycle.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization of APEX and PL/SQL code.
- Use APEX themes, templates, and dynamic actions to enhance user experience.
- Document technical specifications, architecture, and development best practices.
