Key Responsibilities :

 

  • Must have experience in Migration of Oracle Database and Oracle EBS 12.2 on-prem to CLOUD (DBCS).
  • Manage Oracle Databases and EBS instances on the Oracle Public Cloud.
  • Participate in migration efforts of legacy on-prem databases to SaaS or IaaS options.
  • Must have experience working with Cloud database offerings and migrating applications data from legacy databases.
  • Must have experience with Upgrades and Migrations, zero downtime migration (ZDM).
  • Oracle Database administration experience on 11gR2, 12c & 19c databases.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle 19c Database Management System (DBMS) including Multitenant, ORDS and APEX management.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX application deployment methods.
  • Strong, recent database administration technical skills, knowledge, and background.
  • Conduct sizing based on the inputs during requirement gathering (hardware configuration).
  • Identify any prerequisites and dependencies for application.
  • Good understanding of EBS R12.2 application architecture (including ADOP concepts, dual file system architecture, PCP, concurrent managers, workflow, layout of application on infrastructure).
  • Understands Oracle application and database technical architecture and how to optimize for performance.
  • Experienced in structured analytical methods and incident troubleshooting.
  • Experienced in instance patching, cloning, refreshing.
  • Good exposure of Backup and Recovery (Oracle RMAN, Import/Export and Datapump).
  • Experienced in monitoring performance of applications and database servers.
  • Hands-On Experience in a multi-node multi-tier environment with recent skills in Oracle Database Release 12c, 19c and eBusiness Suite R12.2 with WebLogic Administration.
  • Hands-On Experience in Administering Oracle RAC, Oracle DataGuard, ASM, RMAN, Linux/Unix Operating Systems.
  • Experienced in performance tuning custom developed objects.
  • Knowledgeable with various Flavors of Unix, Unix shell scripting, RAC, AD tools, and configuration of application in a load balanced environment.
  • Experienced with service management tools, processes, and protocols.
  • Experience working with RHEL and AIX environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
