Description:
We are looking for Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for our Hospital in Dubai. Candidates with DHA license/Eligibility letter are preferred.
Educational Qualifications:
MBBS/MS/Fellowship from a recognized medical school.
Fellowship or Board certification in Orthopaedics
Minimum of 10 years’ experience since gaining higher qualification.
Arabic Speaking candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in all general Orthopaedics, Arthroscopy, arthroplasty, revision surgeries etc
- Clinical consultations and physical examinations of patients.
- Analyze patient's medical history, physical condition, and examination results to verify operation's necessity and to determine best procedure.
- Prescribe preoperative and postoperative treatments and procedures, such as sedatives, diets, antibiotics, and preparation and treatment of the patient's operative area.
- Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, assistants, specialists, residents and other medical staff.
- Examine patient to provide information on medical condition and surgical risk.
- Follow established surgical techniques during the operation.
- Operate on patients to correct deformities, repair injuries, prevent and treat diseases, or improve or restore patients' functions.
- Responsible for compliance to the ethical and professional standards set by the clinic and regulatory authorities.
- Adhere to a high standard of clinical consultations and physical examinations.
- Ensure patient care or treatment is delegated to a suitable qualified, experienced individual with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide the care or treatment involved.
