This is a rare opportunity to join a top-tier IP practice in the GCC, offering a client-facing, full-spectrum role covering both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters.

You will work closely with leading partners and regional clients on high-profile patent litigation and prosecution mandates, while also advising on trademarks, copyright, trade secrets, and broader IP strategy. The role offers significant exposure to cross-border matters and involvement in regional IP policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on patent prosecution, litigation, and enforcement.
• Handling trademark and copyright advisory and contentious matters.
• Drafting and negotiating IP-related commercial agreements.
• Managing regional IP portfolios and conducting infringement risk analysis.
• Supporting business development and client relationship management.

Requirements:

• 3–7 years’ PQE from a top-tier law firm or IP-focused boutique.
• Strong background in patent law, including prosecution and litigation.
• Broader IP experience including trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills.
• UAE or GCC experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Candidates with an existing client base or strong business development networks will be viewed favourably.
