Job Description:
✔️ Provide thorough medication counseling to patients and caregivers, including usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
✔️Conduct medication reviews and manage medication therapy for pediatric patients.
✔️ Ensure the safe and appropriate use of medications in pediatric patients, considering age-specific needs and dosing.
✔️ Implement and oversee medication safety protocols within the community pharmacy.
✔️ Participate in adverse drug reaction monitoring and reporting.
✔️ Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
✔️ Oversee the preparation and dispensing of pediatric medications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
✔️ Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and inventory management.
✔️ Compound antibiotics and other medications as needed, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.
✔️ Stay current with advancements in pediatric pharmacy practice through continuous education and professional development.


Qualifications:
Current and valid DoH license.
Board Certified Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist (BCPPS) certification.
Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric pharmacy practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
