Pest Control Technician

Description:

Perform all activities related to pest control services as per instruction of Team Leader and/or Senior Technician.

Job Core Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to perform pest control services including fumigation, spraying chemical solutions, spreading powders, setting mechanical traps and placing baits to control pests on or near the surfaces of infected premises in the buildings or houses to eliminate and control various kinds of pests.

2. Responsible to recognize and inform team leader about invading pests, including rats, termites, snakes, ants, spiders, mosquitos, or bed bugs, and remove dead rodents after treatment.

3. Ensure to utilize appropriate PPE (protective personal equipment) during performance of the duty.

4. Ensure to follow the step wise procedure for performing the treatment as advised by Senior Technician / Team Leader’s and follow instructions before entering the site.

4.1. Ensure to smilingly greet the customer, ask about pest problems and before starting services must request permission.

4.2. Ensure to check the location and avoid wearable cloths / food items while performing treatment.

4.3. Perform the treatment as per SOP.

4.4. Ensure to explain the client of any recommendation.

5. Responsible to take good care of the assigned equipment’s and other assets including keeping the sprayer neat/clean and well maintained, etc.

6. Updating the required records on the site including yellow job cards, etc.

Responsible to perform any other task assigned by Line/Department Manager.

Qualifications

* Minimum 1-2 years experience in Pest Control field

* Holding Dubai Municipality Pest Control Permit.

* Good knowledge in Dealing with the customer on site.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Ability to perform the tasks in the site individually and in a professional way.
