Medstar ICAD Medical Center is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to join its growing medical team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient dispensing of medications while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with medical prescriptions and legal requirements.
- Provide professional guidance to patients on the correct use, dosage, and potential side effects of medications.
- Manage and monitor pharmaceutical inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage conditions.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, contraindications, and possible drug interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispensed medications and transactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff to support the best patient outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest developments, guidelines, and advancements in pharmaceutical care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
- Must hold or be eligible for a valid UAE pharmacist license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Previous experience in a hospital or medical center setting is an advantage.
