Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our team! In this role you will lead planning, scheduling, progress control, and time-related assessments for infrastructure projects, ensuring robust programme delivery and clear reporting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review contractor baseline and updated programmes and support the Engineer’s consent in line with contract conditions and Parsons practices.
- Validate resource and schedule feasibility to support timely completion.
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules across multiple packages and interfaces.
- Analyze progress updates to identify delays/slippage and critical events; recommend mitigation and recovery actions.
- Perform “what-if” and schedule impact analysis for changes/variations and potential events.
- Prepare regular progress reports/monthly programme analysis and presentations against key milestones.
- Support claims/EOT assessments using delay analysis methods (e.g., time impact analysis and window analysis), including concurrent delay where applicable.
- Lead/attend planning and progress meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain trackers/logs and contemporaneous records.
- Agree the progress measurement system (PMS) and KPIs with contractors/consultants for monitoring.
- Issue delay/slow-performance notices when required and support responses to contractor notices using programme data and contractual provisions.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum 8 years planning/scheduling experience on infrastructure projects (stormwater, roads, sewerage, utilities).
- Strong experience in Primavera P6 and Power BI.
- DMT practicing engineer license (mandatory).
- UAE equivalency certificate (mandatory).
- Strong written and verbal English communication and reporting skills.
