Planning Engineer

They operate from state-of-the-art facilities in Industrial Area 6 Sharjah, providing structural and architectural metalwork, mostly in steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. They have been a trusted partner to customers in construction, industrial, petrochemical, governmental, and manufacturing businesses across the U.A.E.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Planning & Cost control functions of projects.
• Receipt of drawing packages & requisitions
• Organizing & updation of planning database
• Primarily develop, implement, and maintain cost control functions
• Provide planning/scheduling support on multiple projects
• Track workflow at every stage until delivery, periodical project reporting
• Coordinating with all stakeholders to meet the management objectives and project requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in the construction field
• 8+ years of related experience and competency in computer software such as MS Office, MS Outlook, MS project
• Primavera P6 skills is a must
• Ability to interface with both clients and other inter-office disciplines at a senior level
• Experience in Steel Structure Installation, Metal Works and Chain-link fence installation is highly preferred.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects is highly desirable
