Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

Prepare and update baseline schedules, progress updates, and recovery programs.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Design teams to ensure alignment between schedule and project execution.

Monitor actual progress vs planned and report variance, delay causes, and corrective actions.

Support preparation of weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves.

Liaise with consultants and clients for schedule submissions and approvals.

Assist in developing resource histograms, cash flows, and look-ahead schedules.

Participate in risk analysis, mitigation planning, and project controls reviews.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 4 years of total experience in project planning, including at least 1 year in landscaping projects, or 2 years in infrastructure projects within the UAE.

Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Excel.

Strong understanding of landscape work sequencing, irrigation networks, hardscape, and utility tie-ins.

Familiar with UAE authority processes (DMT, ADM, ADDC, TAQA, etc.) is an advantage.

Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.

Experience in baseline narrative preparation, progress analysis, and EOT/time impact analysis.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
