Planning Engineer

Description:

A company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join its construction team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in UAE building construction projects and expertise in project planning, scheduling, and project controls.

The selected candidate will play a key role in developing project schedules, monitoring progress, preparing reports, and supporting project delivery through effective planning and delay analysis. Candidates with experience in residential, commercial, high-rise, and mixed-use developments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.

• Prepare project baselines, S-Curves, progress reports, and KPI dashboards.

• Monitor project progress and identify scheduling risks and delays.

• Perform CPM scheduling, delay analysis, and prepare recovery programmes.

• Support EOT (Extension of Time) claim preparation and project controls activities.

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely project execution.

• Prepare planning reports and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in UAE building construction projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.

• Strong experience with Primavera P6 and project planning.

• Experience working on residential villas, high-rise buildings, commercial projects, or mixed-use developments.

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple project schedules and deadlines.

• Strong knowledge of:

 • Primavera P6 and project scheduling

 • Critical Path Method (CPM)

 • Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay analysis

 • Recovery programmes and project controls

 • Baselines, S-Curves, progress reporting, and KPI dashboards
