Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our team! In this role, you will perform planning and scheduling activities for infrastructure and utility projects, supporting schedule control, reporting, and time-related assessments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review contractor baseline and updated programmes and support the Engineer’s consent in line with contract requirements and Parsons practices.
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (including multi-package interfaces) and validate resource/schedule feasibility.
- Analyze progress updates to identify delays/slippage, critical events, and recommend mitigation/corrective actions.
- Perform “what-if” and schedule impact assessments for changes/variations and potential events.
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and programme analysis, including presentations against key milestones.
- Support claims/EOT assessments using delay analysis methods (e.g., time impact and window analysis) and maintain contemporaneous records.
- Coordinate planning issues with contractors and stakeholders, attend coordination/progress meetings, and maintain trackers/logs.
- Support implementation of progress measurement systems (PMS) and KPIs; issue schedule performance notices where required.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or Equivalent Discipline
- Minimum 10 years experience in planning and scheduling for major infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
