Description:
YOU will act as the key technical interface between GIGANET, its customers, and partners. You will design and present reliable, backup power solutions tailored to project specifications. This position requires strong technical expertise, commercial understanding, and the ability to align client requirements with optimal solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all pre-sales activities related to backup power solutions
- Define project technical requirements and develop customized solutions that meet client expectations.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for tenders and project bids.
- As engineer provide technical support to partners on backup power solutions.
- Advise partners on std installation, commissioning and preventive Maintenance practices for UPS systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and competitor activities to strengthen proposals and solution positioning.
- Support the sales closure process with sales team by offering technical validation and customer assurance during final negotiations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in electrical engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales, solution design, or technical support role within the Backup Power industry/Data Centre industry.
- Proven track record in preparing and winning tenders and RFPs in the power sector.
- Strong understanding of power distribution, load analysis, and system integration.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel regionally across the GCC.
