Procurement Engineer

Description:

Midas Energia LLC is looking for an experienced and motivated Procurement Engineer to join its expanding team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in engineering procurement who can efficiently manage purchasing activities while supporting ongoing projects.

The selected candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring timely procurement. You will work closely with engineering and project teams to support project delivery while following company procurement standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure electrical, mechanical, and industrial materials for ongoing projects

• Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors while evaluating supplier performance

• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure procurement schedules are met

• Prepare purchase orders and monitor material deliveries to project sites

• Ensure procurement activities comply with project specifications and company procurement policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)

• Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience in the UAE, preferably within the Energy, MEP, or EPC sector

• Strong knowledge of local and international supplier networks

• Strong knowledge of:

• Procurement processes and vendor management

• Supplier negotiations and quotation analysis

• Purchase order management and project coordination

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

• UAE driving licence will be considered an advantage
