We are hiring Procurement Manager for UAE.
We are looking for an innovative Procurement Manager who is responsible for finding and evaluating suppliers, products and services, negotiating contracts and acquiring the most cost-efficient deals without compromising on quality.
Responsibilities:
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Preparing procurement reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years UAE experience in Retail industry in Supply chain operations role (preferably in Food sector)
- Graduate Degree in Commerce/ retail /Business
- Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of materials, products, and the commodity market in area of specialization.
- Market Knowledge Adaptability, flexibility, resilience
- Candidate must be residing in UAE.
