Team SIB is actively hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time position ideal for professionals with a minimum of five years of experience in the UAE construction sector, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of innovative and large-scale projects in the region.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of UAE construction costs, market trends, and material pricing, along with advanced proficiency in project estimation and cost control tools. The role demands a results-driven individual who can support project delivery through effective contract administration, variation control, and value engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for construction and engineering projects.

• Administer and manage contracts, including preparing tender documents, negotiating terms, and handling variation orders.

• Analyze material and labor costs, sourcing competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Manage and assess monthly progress claims, contractor payments, and subcontractor accounts.

• Conduct value engineering assessments to optimize project costs while maintaining quality.

• Provide regular cost reports, financial forecasting, and cost-benefit analyses to project stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with the design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure timely project delivery within budget.

• Ensure compliance with legal standards, company policies, and industry best practices.

• Adapt to managing multiple sectors of construction and be flexible to support both commercial and residential developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of UAE-based experience in quantity surveying or cost management roles.

• Strong understanding of construction materials, local market rates, and building codes in the UAE.

• Proven experience in cost control, claims management, and contract administration.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and industry estimation software.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.

• Effective communication and coordination abilities, capable of working in cross-functional teams.
