Procurement Solar Engineer

Description:

Solunova Energy is looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer to join our growing team.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the UAE.

Mandatory experience in the Solar PV industry.

Strong knowledge of solar PV components, including modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and BOS materials.

Established network of suppliers and manufacturers in the UAE.

Experience in obtaining quotations, technical and commercial evaluations, negotiation, and purchase order management.

Good understanding of project schedules and material delivery coordination.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Valid UAE driving license is preferred.


Responsibilities:

Source and procure materials for solar PV projects.

Manage supplier relationships and negotiate competitive prices.

Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure timely procurement.

Track deliveries and maintain procurement records.

Support tendering activities by obtaining supplier quotations.
