We are hiring for the position of Product Design Engineer Sheet Metal
Job description
- Study, Research, Design & Develop various styles of Storage cabinets for manufacturing, according to knowledge of design trends, offerings of competition, with a focus on function, safety, durability, aesthetic, and cost.
- Providing detailed responses for product and technical requests
- Building proof-of-concept models and prototypes sample models
- Source the required locks, accessories and hardware’s required for the development of the product.
- Good Knowledge of Auto Cad & SOLID Works for generating Sample designs and detailed final product designs
- Prepares itemized production requirements to produce item.
- Modify & improve existing product range of fire safes to conform to the changes in design trends and to increase customer acceptance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of design engineering experience
- Experience in Sheet Metal Forming Processes & Programming of Laser Cutting, Punching, Bending, Welding, and Assembly is a must.
- Ability to produce quality work on-time and according to schedule / deadlines.
- Proficient in English – written and verbal communication skills
