Product Owner

Description:

The Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritising the user stories in the team backlog. They drive quality control and will validate that the stories delivered meet the defined acceptance criteria.

They will work with the Product Manager to serve as the customer proxy and will support them in defining the product vision and roadmap.

This role is a core team member of the agile scrum team. They will work with more than 1 scrum teams and will ensure the team understands the required features and functionality of products to be delivered in each iteration.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog.
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and acceptance tests.
• Work with multiple Scrum teams to deliver business value.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into product features.
• Validate delivered stories against acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD).
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Reviews, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives.
• Contribute to the product roadmap and support product vision.
• Facilitate sprint demos and support user training during product rollouts.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of Product Owner/Product Management experience.
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum (SAFe knowledge is preferred).
• Experience managing product backlogs and writing user stories.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• CSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience in Airline Operations/Aviation is highly preferred.
• Technical or Data platform background with the ability to engage in technical discussions.
