We are looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team and bring our Projects to life.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining and implementing the project’s success criteria, including time, cost, quality, and performance benchmarks.
- Contribute to the preparation and updating of project plans, schedules, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional project teams including design consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
- Assist in preparing Request for Proposals, tender documentation, and evaluating consultant and contractor bids.
- Organize and participate in pre-bid meetings to address contractor queries and manage the tender process through to tender openings.
- Liaise with relevant authorities to support the approval process, documentation, and permit acquisition.
- Monitor and track consultant and contractor deliverables and assist in verifying progress payment claims before submission to the Finance department.
- Manage project documentation, track design submittals, and participate in design coordination and risk review meetings.
- Provide technical and financial input during change control processes and variation assessments.
- Assist in preparing project status reports, progress updates, and stakeholder presentations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, prepare progress reports, and ensure works are being executed as per approved plans and standards.
- Ensure smooth flow of project-related information among all parties through structured communications and coordination meetings.
- Assist with client billing and ensure project data is accurately reflected in internal accounting or ERP systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in construction or development projects, preferably within off-plan residential or commercial real estate sectors.
- Familiarity with project management processes, site coordination, and construction methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
