Description:
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Project Engineer to support the execution of industrial water and wastewater treatment projects across the UAE.
In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager, site teams, vendors, and clients to help deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will be involved from installation through commissioning and handover, gaining valuable exposure to RO, UF, ETP, STP, DM, and ZLD systems.

Responsibilities
Project Execution Support
- Support the Project Manager in executing water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Track site progress and help prepare daily and weekly project reports.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to keep work on track.
Technical Coordination
- Review P&IDs, GA drawings, layouts, and technical specifications with design teams.
- Support installation of mechanical equipment, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, method statements, and quality plans.
Site & Commissioning Activities
- Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Support system start-up, performance testing, and basic troubleshooting.
- Follow all HSE rules and actively participate in toolbox talks and permit systems.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Assist in technical review and evaluation of vendors and suppliers.
- Follow up on material deliveries to meet project timelines.
- Coordinate inspections, FAT, SAT, and approvals with clients and consultants.
Client & Authority Coordination
- Communicate with clients, consultants, and local authorities when required.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and standards such as ADM, DM, DEWA, ADSSC, and ADNOC (where applicable).
Documentation & Quality
- Maintain project documents such as inspection reports, test records, and site logs.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and final handover documents.
Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
- 4–8 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment projects.
- Experience in an EPC or project execution environment is preferred.
